Immortality Chords

(ver. 2)
Pearl Jam
Cadd9-x32030
Em -022000
D/F# -200230 (I find it easier to play with my thumb on the the E string)
A -002220(Play with a finger on each string, don't press all the strings with the
finger)

Intro Cadd9 Em x4
Play it by playing the srings on the Cadd9 chord individualy in the order ADGeB them
down Em once. On the 3rd time hammer on/hammer off the note on the 3rd fret of the B string(D).

Then you play D/F# by playing the strings in the order EABG, then do the same for Em.
every 4th Em play EA then hammer on/hammer off the D note on the B string. Continue this
the whole verse.

Vacate is the word
Vengeance has no place on me or her
Cannot find the comfort in this world
Artificial tear
Vessel stabbed, next up, volunteers?
Vulnerable
Wisdom can't adhere

For these three lines play Cadd9 then Em by stumming Down Up Down Up on Cadd9 then
down once on Em. Do this 3 times then play the A, strumming down twice, strumming down
with your little finger on the B sring note 3, strum the unaltered A chord once, then
with the no fingers on the B string once, then strum the unaltered chord once again.
this once.

(A truant finds home)
(And a wish to hold on)
(But there's a trapdoor in the Sun)

Immortality...

Back to the D/F# Em sequence.

As privileged as a whore
Victims in demand for public show
Swept out through the cracks beneath the door
Holier than Thou, How?
Surrendered, executed anyhow
Scrawl dissolved
Cigar box on the floor
A truant finds home
And a wish to hold on too
He saw the trapdoor in the Sun

Immortality..

I Cannot stop the thought
I'm Running in the dark
Coming up a which way sign
All good truants must decide
Oh, Stripped and sold, mom
Auctioned forearm
And Whiskers in the sink
Truants move on
Cannot stay long
Some die just to live
