Mourning Air Bass

(ver. 1)
Portishead

Song starts out w/ singing and some weird thing in the background.
Then the bass starts along w/ everything else:

G: 7 8 7 7 8 7
D:
A:
E: 8 8 8 8

...and it continues on this pattern, but then changes to this
(Note: (s) refers to a slide):

G: 12 13
D:
A:
E: 2 (s) 13 13 (s) 2
(x2)

G: 15 16
D:
A:
E: 2 (s) 16 16 (s) 2
(x2)

E: 7 (let it ring) 8 7 10 (s) 7 (x2)

Well, that's really about it. If you want it to sound like it does
in the song, you need to do
three things:

1. Play it on a fretless.
2. Boost you bass knob as long as you have a good amp.
3. Play it just like I say you should.
