Hideaway Ukulele

(ver. 1)
Rock Kills Kid
Rock Kills Kid ~ Hideaway (Acoustic)

Love this version of it.

Chords
C [x32010]
Cadd9 [x32030]
F [133211] (better to play this [x33211], makes the drop to F/E easier)
F/E [033211]
Am [x02210]
G [320033]
Bb [x13331]

Usually the C is hammered onto Cadd9 right at the end of the bar. The C in the verses is
a Cadd9 first pulled off to C though. Doesn't really matter, just go with the flow. The
(when they're used) are also put on right at the end of the bar. There's a few rhythm
here and though and a few Asus4's thrown in in the chorus' (chori?) at some points,
you can work those out if it bothers you. Enjoy.

Capo 1

Verse:
C F
Because you say, don't mean you mean it
C F (F/E)
Run away, find a hole,
C F (F/E)
Happy now but you don't see it,
G F
Run away 'cause you're alone,

Chorus:
C F Am G
And you'll never know, what could've been,
C F Am G
And you'll never see, what might happen,
C F Am G
And you'll never know, what could've been,
C F Am G
And you'll never see, what might happen.

Verse:
C F
No one likes a broken heart,
C F (F/E)
Hideaway, no one touches you,
C F (F/E)
Without a light you couldn't see,
G F
Run away 'cause you're alone,

Chorus

Bridge: Play chorus chorus chords x2 (though with a different rhythm & solo over top)
Cx2 then:

C F
Because you say, don't mean you mean it,
C F
Run away, find a hole,
                 Bb F
And I'll let you in, yeah, I'll let you in,
Bb
Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhh

Chorus x2 (second time without lyrics with "Wooo-hooooaaa-hhhh"s instead)

End on C.
