PUBLISHER: (c) 1989 Chrysalis Songs/Cinderful Music (BMI)
TUNING: E A D G

East, along with Jennifer Ever, is the most popular of the
pre-Gish era songs. If the 1989 songs were released as an
album, East would probably be the hit single. Despite it's
popularity, East remains unreleased. It originally appeared
on the Pumpkin's first demo tape, The Smashing Pumpkins.

Even though East's bass intro is easy to figure out, the rest
of the song is not; the bass has so much tone that the notes
sound like drops of water. So, as always, this tab is my own
interpretation and may not be accurate.
