Afternoon Delight Chords

(ver. 2)
Starland Vocal Band
Tuning: Standard

So I was looking around and found that the tabs for this song were completely wrong (or
it's done to a different version/key then I have). So I decided to tab it out. Either
way, this version goes with the cd, and is easily sung.

[F] - [Bb]
Gonna [F] find my baby, gonna hold her tight
Gonna [Bb] grab some afternoon [C] delight
My [F] mottos always been when it's right it's right
Why [Bb] wait until the middle of a [C] cold dark night

[Bb] When everythings a little clearer in the [C] light of day
[Bb] And we know the night is always gonna be here [C] anyway

[F] Thinking of you's working up my appetite
Looking [Bb] forward to a little after [C] noon delight
Rubbing [F] sticks and stones together makes the sparks ignite
And the [Bb] thought of rubbing you is getting [C] so exciting
[F] Sky [C] rockets [Bb] in [F] flight,
[C] after [A] noon de [Dm] light
[Bb] After [C] noon de [F] light, [Bb] after [C] noon de [F] light

[F] Started out this morning feeling so polite
I always [Bb] thought a fish could not be caught who [C] didn't bite
But you [F] got some bait awaitin' and I think I might
Like [Bb] nibbling a little after [C] noon delight
[F] Sky [C] rockets [Bb] in [F] flight,
[C] after [A] noon de [Dm] light
[Bb] After [C] noon de [F] light, [Bb] after [C] noon de [F] light

[F] - [Bb]
[Bb] Be waiting for me baby when I [C] come around
[Bb] We can make a lot of loving 'fore the [C] sun gone down

[F] Thinking of you's working up my appetite
Looking [Bb] forward to a little after [C] noon delight
Rubbing [F] sticks and stones together makes the sparks ignite
And the [Bb] thought of rubbing you is getting [C] so exciting
[F] Sky [C] rockets [Bb] in [F] flight,
[C] after [A] noon de [Dm] light
[Bb] After [C] noon de [F] light, [Bb] after [C] noon de [F] light

Well there you have it. Simple.
