Resurrection Tabs

(Version #2)
Fear Factory
Resurrection from Fear Factory's Obsolete.

First off, let me just say that the rest of the tabs on this sight for Fear
Factory are all wrong. Dino played B-tuning through the first two albums
and uses B and A tuning on Obsolete. So if you cant figure out why those
tabs sound wrong, cuz they are.

Tuning- B , tune down a perfect fifth. Just drop your A string to match
your E and then go drop everything else to match your new E string.
When u crank it up with distortion, it will probably sound pretty choppy,
just cut out the mid-band and turn the distortion all the way up. Also, if
your strings are buzzing a lot, using higher guage makes downtuning easier.

This song is pretty easy to play, but if you can get your axe tuned right,
it sounds great to play along too.

h=hammer

Long intro synth part. The notes for guitar follow in case you cant wait
for the guitar part to start.

E--3-----1---------
B---------------1--

First guitar part...

D---555555--7--333333--5-----------------------------
A---555555--7--333333--5-----------------------------
E---333333--5--111111--3-----------------------------
B-------------------------10-00h1-0-1-0-10-00h1-0-1-0 1 and then 0, not 10

Then after vocals come back in
Palm mute this riff

B-10-00h1-0-1-0-10-00h1-0-1-0

Pre-chorus

D--5/77777---5/7----------
A--5/77777---5/7--88888888
E--3/55555---3/5--88888888
B-----------------66666666 Repeat several times

Chorus

D--5/77777---5-5-5-----------------------------------
A--5/77777---5-5-5-0--8-8-888-7-7-777-3-3-333-5-5-555
E--3/55555---3-3-3-0--8-8-888-7-7-777-3-3-333-5-5-555
B------------------0--6-6-666-5-5-555-1-1-111-3-3-333

Last time you play this rif dring the first chorus, end with a

E--10--- thats a ten

The rest of the song is just a repeat of these riffs only you chang the
number of times you play them and a couple of strumming changes, but the
chords are all the same. The song ends on a B-sharp.
