I'll Get Even Bass

(ver. 1)
Megadeth

Recommended Tunings: Standard
*Option: Fretless Bass (if you can get one, try it out,
                                              sounds really cool with mine)

Notes: Grooooove baby groove. Yea, that's the key to this song. Crank your
bass up for this one if your band knows it. There's nothing THAT hard about
this song, tight playing is really the biggest factor. Stick close to what
the drummer is doing. Listen how tight David and Nick are on the song. If
possible, get a fretless bass and play the song. Those slides sound really
cool. You can kinda make the notes drag a bit if you have to and it gives
you an excuse NOT to play open strings. David doesn't use one but I do and
it sounds pretty darn cool.
