i don't have a clue how this goes but it sort of sounds like this:

again no clue but it might be this chord shape slid up the neck slowly

in both of these parts i can't even hear a distinct bass part, but maybe my 
stereo just suks.
that's it. mail me if you figure out any of the other parts, or if i'm wrong
about any of these parts.

When I saw them play this song live (Jan. 1998) they played it in drop-D tuning:
for guitar, D A D G B E; for bass, D A D G.
